Collaborations that could break the internet

As we all know, when two big names decide to join forces, something really good is usually coming our way. Today, we fantasize about some dream collaborations, that undoubtedly would end up in some spectacular way.

Supreme x Gosha Rubchinskiy

Gosha is currently one of the best-known Russian photographers and designers linked to skateboard culture and fascinated with the raw urban style. He has already teamed up with Supreme ones, while shooting photos for the brand – and who knows, maybe we’ll see these two co-working again.

Palace Skateboards x Nashir Mazhar
Two London-based brands: Palace, established by Lev Tanju, that very quickly became one of the most recognizable European skate brands, and Nashir Mazhar, designer whose style is promoted by such British artists as Skepta (who also appeared on the Mazhar’s runway). The British roots and similar aesthetic are definitely not the only things they have in common. Both brands present the raw look, Palace pays homage to 90’s style, Nasir Mashar takes inspirations from residential districts – not to mention they also share the love for tracksuits and polyamide, what we’ve recently seen in Palace x Adidas Originals collab.

OFF-WHITE c/o Virgil Abloh x Stone Island Shadow Project

Virgil Abloh went fluently from Pyrex Vision to his new project OFF-WHITE, which became a huge hit right away. This collaboration could be a perfect example of blending technical wear prized all around the world, with the iconic design that have already gained significant place in the fashion world. The simple OFF- WHITE graphics on the highest quality products would create the special offering for the fans of both brands. As you remember, the previous collaborations like that ended up with huge success (Supreme x North Face).

Pigalle x Champion

Regarding how active Champion has become during last year, its collaboration with Stéphane Ashpoole from Pigalle, who has also been related to the basketball world for ages, seems like a perfect choice. Though the fever around famous Pigalle’s logo T-shirts is over, the brand has never been more successful: recently in Paris >Stéphane won the Grand Prix Style Award, and his fashion show was considered to be one of the most interesting during Paris Fashion Week. Champion – always known as a sport brand – would gain a new refreshed image.

Comme des Garçons Homme Plus x Arc’teryx

Just like in OFF-WHITE and Stone Island case, we can deem that high fashion style presented by CDG Homme Plus, mixed with perfect technical Arc’teryx wear would create a recognizable and memorable line, undoubtedly adored by both brand’s fans.

Aimé Leon Dore x Fred Perry

They both share streetstyle in a simple, clean version, with characteristic design and fresh vibe – and probably wouldn’t have any problems with blending it all together in one modern project. We can easily imagine British sportstyle class meeting the American free spirit.

Wood Wood x A Bathing Ape

Ever since being established by Nigo, Japanese brand BAPE has been engaging in numerous collaborations. Recently, Danish brand have also been focused on spreading its style around the world. Its new collections are being expanded, while still keeping the original brand’s values. This collaboration would be the great step for both brands. Wood Wood and BAPE are well know on the market, but joining forces and blending minimalistic sportstyle with legendary BAPE’s design could be a chance to reach some previously unavailable customers.
